MATRESCENCE FESTIVAL (2025)

Claire Tonti, FESTIVAL DIRECTOR

"Mietta performed her stunning original songs and storytelling at the first Australian Matrescence Festival in March 2025 and it was a privilege to be in the room to witness her. She sang with depth, clarity and wisdom, alchemising the room and generating so much healing and connection. Mietta also volunteered her time to supporting the community of women and their children who gathered providing a warm, calming presence. I highly recommend her as an artist and community leader who with her voice and her words brings people together and reminds us to connect to our hearts, the land and each other."
